Gone is the ‘canned’ voice that did all the talking in previous versions of Book Maker.
You now MUST have a microphone in order to write a book (if you expect to hear the words in your book).
Now each word in a book can be recorded, using a very simple method. It’s easy enough to get very young children to record each word using their own voice. I’m going to explain how I was able to get a two and a half year old girl to record the words to her story.
The Voice Recorder is only available during the SAVE function of Book Maker. If for some reason you want to make changes to the speech in a book, all you have to do is start Book Maker, and click the CHANGE (EDIT) button.
