Adding and manipulating images with BookMaker - 1 Getting Started With Tobors BookMaker - CHANGE
May 25

The first thing that you will have to do when you start to write a Tobors Book is decide whether you want to write a NEW book, CHANGE a book that already exists, or COPY a book. Here’s what thse three buttons look like. Each of them have a simple animation that happens when you move your mouse over them to try to simplify things for a child. Tobors BookMaker also includes audio help to make it easier for children. The audio help can be aggravating at times, so it is turned OFF by default.

Since you are writing a NEW book, you will have to enter the NAME of your new book. Clicking the CONTINUE button will create a new blank book, with 8 blank pages and automatically move you on to the next step in writing your book.

This is a scaled down version of what the BookMaker looks like at this stage. I have outlined both the Page Menu area (the part in the centre) and the Image Area (the larger area on the right side) with a red box around each.

That’s all there is to starting a New Book. Everything else is common to all Books so it will be included in the posting called Writing a Typical Book.
